  • 2024 Pledge Campaign begins

We are excited about calling our next settled minister and looking ahead to renewing and rebuilding our spiritual community. Now, it is more important than ever to demonstrate our long standing commitment and enjoyment of brilliant music, inspirational messages, being in action around social justice, and simply sharing life’s joys with one another. We’re asking you to continue making First Church Boston the source of hope, welcoming, and spiritual connection it has been for so many years.

Think about all that First Church has brought to you, your family, and fellow members. Think about what it could bring if sufficient resources are provided by its members.

  • Ministerial Candidating Week announced: April 29 – May 7!

April 29 – May 7 will be the week when the chosen candidate for our next minister will come to First Church Boston to meet the congregation, leading services on Sundays April 30 and May 7, participating in open congregational discussions, and talking with various groups in the week between.
We hope there will then be a final vote of approval from the First Church Boston membership on Sunday May 7. Save these dates and more details will follow.

Barbara Martin, Chair of First Church Boston’s Ministerial Search Committee, announced Candidating Week will be April 29–May 7.
