It is our great pleasure to welcome you to First Church in Boston.
First Church has been a spiritual presence in Boston since it was founded in 1630. Our Unitarian Universalist tradition has long been a source of welcome, hospitality and openness to our neighbors, our city and to all.
It is in keeping with that spirit that First Church makes its venues available to the community to celebrate art, culture, dance, music, and the human spirit.
Regardless of what type of event you are planning, the diversity of our space provides the flexibility to adapt to the specific needs and vision of your group.
Whether it is intimate meeting for a small group or a performance or wedding for 250, First Church has the ideal location for your event.

Our Sanctuary (pictured above), which is known for its excellent acoustics and unique architectural style, accommodates up to 250 people. As the primary worship space for First Church services, the Sanctuary works equally well as a space for quiet reflection or as a venue for a musical or theatre performance.
The Hale Chapel (below) provides a unique back drop for musical, theatre, or spoken word performances, round table discussions and many others. The Chapel can accomodate 75 people.

The Auditorium (below) provides an ideal setting for presentations and intimate theater productions. The raised stage is ideal for plays, dance recitals, speakers and panel discussions. The Auditorium can accommodate 75 people.
