Susan Galvin is the Comptroller at First Church Boston, where she manages the church’s accounting, budgeting, and audit processes with the steady hand that comes from over 30 years in nonprofit finance. She enjoys helping the congregation plan for the future while honoring its rich Unitarian Universalist traditions.

When Susan isn’t crunching numbers, she’s usually in the mountains of Maine snowboarding at her “happy place”, Sunday River. She’s been hitting the slopes for as long as she’s been in accounting; as she likes to joke, “I was snowboarding before it was even cool.”
