John Newhall is a religious educator and lifelong Unitarian Universalist from Salem, Massachusetts with a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology from Boston University School of Theology. John has worked in Unitarian Universalism for many years. John has served in volunteer and staff roles at the First Church in Salem, Massachusetts, Fox Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Appleton, Wisconsin, and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Marblehead, Massachusetts. Currently, John serves jointly as Intern Minister with First Church Boston and The Sanctuary Boston and works as the Director of Religious Exploration at the First Parish in Needham. In addition, John also serves as Trustee and Vice Moderator on the Unitarian Universalist Association Board of Trustees.
