Sermon: “Walking Palms and People: Rooted in Change” Lindsay Donnelly-Bullington, intern minister
Sermon: “Walking Palms and People: Rooted in Change”
We call our movement a “living tradition” because Unitarian Universalism is a continuously developing community of beliefs, practices, and values. Our roots do not only reach down to cement our position, but, like the walking palm trees, nurture us in the process of clarification and adaptation. In Lindsay Donnelly-Bullington’s first sermon as intern minister, we consider ways to ground and center, to plant roots to enable our journeying.
First Church Storyteller, the Rev. Hank Peirce, will share a story for all ages in the service. Older children are invited to remain in the service or to join childcare assistants for stories, play, and craft.
