View of Sanctuary and Winter Solstice celebration in the sanctuary
Celebrating the Winter Solstice included music and spoken word by Celtic harper James Ruff.
On December 21 at 6:30pm we gathered for a quiet time in community, to recognize the changing of the season and movements of the earth with poetry & readings, song, and the sounds of the Celtic Harp. We shared the gifts of darkness and light as we held our candles, and were reminded of how many of the traditions of this season are tied together.  A huge “thank you” to Rev. Sheldon Bennett for pulling this all together. It was a beautiful evening we will all remember.
