As the winter weather of January arrives, we have a month of events planned from lighter, social events to deeper conversations as well as weekly Sunday gatherings for worship and coffee hour conversations.

Knitting and crafting are one of our Winter Wednesday evenings together
Knitting and crafting are just one of our Winter Wednesdays events.

Looking for a chance to shake off the cold and gather with others? Starting Wednesday, January 8, each Wednesday evening in January and February will present a different fun opportunity from games to crafting and more. Click here for a full list. All are invited whether you have never been to a Sunday service or are a decades-long member. This is simply a time to enjoy an evening with a small group of people.

If you are looking for a chance for deeper conversation, consider attending the monthly “Covenant Circle” led by Lindsay Donnelly-Bullington on Monday, January 6, 7:00pm. These drop-in gatherings offer a lightly structured way to discuss the monthly theme. Or, if you are seeking stillness, you may wish to join with others on Sundays at 10:30am as part of our Meditation group. And, for inspiration, please explore the current art exhibit by Alex Kalil.

Each month this year we are reimagining a portion of the 1630 Covenant that founded First Church Boston. This month we ask: what could it mean to seek wholeness in a cracked and broken world?

Our Sunday services will also explore this theme about how we make sense of the ‘something wrong’ and the longing for something better. Learn more about the monthly theme online here and visit our calendar for more details about each Sunday service.
