“Rags to Riches” stories often commend the grit and resilience of an individual. However, even in the genre-defining books by Horatio Alger, the protagonist typically received the help of others to move from poverty to abundance. Indeed, transformation often emerges through what we do together. When faced with a sense of scarcity or poverty, how might working together help to build resilience?
For Families: Childcare for children aged 1-8 is available with Noah and Anna. We will share a story for all ages in the service. Following the story, older children are invited to remain in the service after or to join Noah and Anna for stories, play, and craft. Children of all ages are also always welcome in the sanctuary.
