“In the Presence of Fear” Sermon by Rev. Dr. Stephanie May

Sermon: “In the Presence of Fear”
Rev. Dr. Stephanie May
Courage has been described not as the absence of fear, but the willingness to act in the presence of fear. As we continue our month-long exploration of quests, we explore the role of fear on our individual and collective journeys. What is fear? When is it helpful and when might it be a hindrance?
For Families: Childcare for children aged 1-8 is available with Noah and Anna. Rev. Hank Peirce, Assistant Minister of Storytelling, will share a story for all ages in the service. Following the story, older children are invited to remain in the service after or to join Noah and Anna for stories, play, and craft. Children of all ages are also always welcome in the sanctuary.
