Sermon: “The Horror of Hatred”

As we enter “spooky season” in October, we turn to stories of monsters. As we consider the monsters within and around us, today’s service explores the power of hatred. As a religious tradition that centers love, what role—if any—is there for hatred?

For Families: Childcare for children aged 1-8 is available with Noah and Anna.  Ebonié Smith-Cooper will share a story for all ages in the service. Following the story, older children are invited to remain in the service after or to join Noah and Anna for stories, play, and craft. Children of all ages are also always welcome in the sanctuary.
