Sermon: “The Prophetic Perfect Tense”

Memory and imagination are both functions of the same part of the brain, the hippocampus. As we seek to build Beloved Community, we have to ask where we’ve seen it before. Just the same, how do we imagine what could come to be that isn’t a simple recreation of what has been. As we work to live with intention, what are the roles of memory and imagination?

For Families: Childcare for children ages 1-8 available with Noah and Jackie. A story for all ages will be shared in the service. Following the story, older children are invited to remain in the service after or to join Noah and Jackie for stories, play, and craft.
