Sermon: “Of Harm and Heartache”

“Everybody Has a Heartache,” writes poet Joy Harjo. Experiencing and causing harm is part of the human experience.  When we are all hurting in some way, how might we approach questions of harm, apology, and repair on both interpersonal and institutional levels?

For Families: Childcare for children ages 1-8 available with Noah and Jackie. First Church Boston storyteller, Rev. Hank Peirce, will share a story for all ages in the service. Following the story, older children are invited to remain in the service or to join Noah and Jackie for stories, play, and craft.
