“To Dwell Together” Sermon by Rev. Dr. Stephanie May

Sermon: “To Dwell Together”
Rev. Dr. Stephanie May
In many ways, home is a cherished ideal of comfort and belonging. And yet, the idea of protecting one’s home has also been repeatedly politicized and used to justify all manner of violence. Drawing on work from her doctoral dissertation as well as personal story, Rev. Dr. May invites us to reimagine what it might mean to dwell with others.
For Families: Childcare for children ages 1-8 available with Noah and Jackie. First Church Boston storyteller, Rev. Hank Peirce, will share a story for all ages in the service. Older children are invited to remain in the service or to join Noah and Jackie for stories, play, and craft.
