On Saturday, September 30, all members of the Standing Committee and the Rev. Dr. Stephanie May met with UUA facilitator Art Nava for a half-day retreat.

The day began with exercises for the steering committee and minister to get to know each other better. In small groups, we then explored what draws each to be a part of and to serve the First Church community.

Finally, we came back together as a large group to brainstorm what the next three years might look like at First Church. We began to identify near, medium, and longer term goals to help guide the work of the Standing Committee.

What are your ideas and hopes? Please reach out to a member of the Standing Committee on Sunday or by email to share your thoughts.
