Want some ideas for things you might offer? Here are a few ideas to get you thinking…Â
- If you like to cook, offer a special dinner with seats for 4-6 attendees—or a cooking class (church kitchen possibly available)
- Lead a kayak excursion on the Charles, a walking tour in Boston, or a hike nearby—add a picnic (or packets of special trail mix!)
- Provide a session of home tech support or decluttering assistance, window box expertise, or knitting knowledge
- Offer vouchers for theater tickets or a certificate for a local restaurant—reach out where you have a connection!
- Organize a game night or play-reading session
- Deliver a batch of your favorite cookies—with the recipe
