Be part of our community this winter
Amidst the cold of winter, we continue to gather on Sundays, Wednesdays, and more for spiritual grounding, social connection, and organizing for social action. Whether you are longing for good music, powerful art, compelling ideas, or new friends, we invite you to visit our community.

Throughout the month, you can still view the wonderful work of artist Alex Kalil. With powerful colors and messages of hope, Kalil’s “Tapestry of Sorrow and Joy” are not to be missed. Please stop by when the building is open to the public on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings. On Sunday, February 16, 12:30pm, Kalil will give an artist talk open to the public as well.
“Winter Wednesdays” continue throughout February. This month includes several collaborative events including: an online discussion with Rev. Stephanie and two other UU ministers on their spiritual journeys on February 5, a gathering with the progressive spiritual community, Sanctuary Boston, on February 19, and a fun and educational evening with the Wine committee on February 16. Learn more on our monthly calendar of events.

On Sunday mornings at 11am, we gather for an hour of music, readings, stillness, and a sermon around a theme. For families, we offer childcare with stories and activities that share our values in age-appropriate and fun ways. Throughout February, we will explore what it means to live with intention here and now. We also welcome the Rev. Mary Margaret Earl of the Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry on Sunday, February 9 for a reflection on the ongoing work of addressing racism in the city. Then, on Sunday February 16, Rev. Stephanie will further explore Black History in the city and of First Church Boston in a sermon entitled, “Living Locally.”
For those looking to go deeper into the monthly theme of intention, you can join a Covenant Circle discussion on Monday, February 3, 7:00pm. Each first Monday of the month, our Intern Minister, Lindsay Donnelly-Bullington leads these times of structured reflection and conversation on the monthly theme. Or you may connect with Lindsay during her weekly Monday afternoon “Tea-Time” for conversation on this or other matters of interest or concern.
