“A Legacy of Love or Hate?” Sermon by Rev. Dr. Stephanie May

Sermon: “A Legacy of Love or Hate?”
Rev. Dr. Stephanie May
Scholars have described enslavement as the “original sin” of the United States and racism as the “Achilles heel” of the nation. As Unitarian Universalists, how does our faith call us to address the deep legacy of racial injustice in our nation and in our own church history? How might our commitment to love transform how we tell our history today?
For Families: Childcare for children aged 1-8 is available with Noah and Anna. Rev. Hank Peirce, Assistant Minister of Storytelling, will share a story for all ages in the service. Following the story, older children are invited to remain in the service after or to join Noah and Anna for stories, play, and craft. Children of all ages are also always welcome in the sanctuary.
