Sermon: “All That Love Makes Possible”

Naturalist and author Terry Tempest Williams writes, “I pray to the birds because they remind me of what I love rather than what I fear.” In a time of frightening climate crisis, how might centering love transform our vision for a sustainable and just future?  Joining with hundreds of other Unitarian Universalist congregations in a Climate Justice Revival, we explore in word, music, and song what it could mean to show mutual love and respect to our planet and its many living beings.

For Families: Childcare for children ages 1-8 is available with Noah and Jackie.  Rev. Hank Peirce, First Church Storyteller, will share a story for all ages in the service. Following the story, older children are invited to remain in the service after or to join Noah and Jackie for stories, play, and craft. Children of all ages are also always welcome in the sanctuary.
