October is a month of community involvement

Part of First Church Boston’s mission is to be a resource and asset for our community.

We recently added a Little Free Library which offers everyone a way of sharing and giving books. The church’s stepped outdoor amphi theatre provides a great place to sit down to browse a book or read.
However October is an especially busy month for us and our neighbors.
The John Winthrop School for Young Children has been occupying space in our building since 1966 and they will be having their annual Street Fair, the third Saturday of October. It is free and open to the public and always provides a great get-together for families and the neighborhood and we will be there with a table.

The Boston Book Festival
will be using our auditorium and sanctuary on October 17 when the entire Back Bay celebrates books and ideas

with free discussions and book-related events through out the Back Bay. https://bostonbookfest.org/

Halloween is another must-see & do in the neighborhood! First Church Boston offers sweet treats (and bathrooms!) to all the families who come to the neighborhood for “Trick or Treat”.
Celebrate the season with us and our neighbors!
