Sermon: “Fear and Love”

From movies, to costumes, to lawn decor, the month of October includes efforts to frighten people. Yet often fear does not feel “fun” or “entertaining” as Halloween might suggest. Rather, fear can be destabilizing, even paralyzing. How does fear teach us about what we love? And might love help us face fear?

For Families: Childcare for children aged 1-8 is available.  Noah Herrick will share a story for all ages in the service. Following the story, older children are invited to remain in the service after or to join Noah and Anna for stories, play, and craft. Children of all ages are also always welcome in the sanctuary.
