“Annual Poetry Sunday”

Ralph Waldo Emerson, one-time pastor of the Second Church of Boston*, proclaimed, “All [people] are poets at heart.”  In this spirit, we invite all to ring out the year in a casual gathering of word and song. Bring a favorite poem or reading to share as we celebrate the gift of poetry and language. *Founded in 1649, Second Church merged with First Church in 1970.

For Families: Our Religious Education program and childcare are on holiday break and will resume on Sunday, January 11.
