DESCRIPTION:Sermon: "Beautiful and Broken: The World as it Is"\n Rev. Mary 
 Katherine Morn\n\nIt is hard to bear the monstrous images from the world w
 ith all its violence and hate. Sometimes we have to look away. If\, though
 \, we close our eyes to the suffering in our world\, we will also inevitab
 ly miss much of its beauty. This service invites us to stay tender to the 
 heartbreak and the joy and beauty\, so that we can be part of bringing mor
 e beauty and justice to our world.\n\nBio: Rev. Mary Katherine Morn is Pre
 sident and CEO of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC)\, a 
 nonprofit\, nonsectarian organization advancing human rights together with
  an international community of grassroots partners and advocates. She has 
 also served as senior staff for the Unitarian Universalist Association and
  as a Senior Minister in UU congregations.\n\nFor Families: Childcare for 
 children aged 1-8 is available with Noah and Anna. Rev. Hank Peirce\, Assi
 stant Minister of Storytelling\, will share a story for all ages in the se
 rvice. Following the story\, older children are invited to remain in the s
 ervice after or to join Noah and Anna for stories\, play\, and craft. Chil
