 cember 10\, 1948\, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed a “Uni
 versal Declaration of Human Rights” that recognized the inherent dignity
  and rights of “all members of the human family.”  Written in the aft
 ermath of global war\, the Declaration represented a moment of hope for a 
 shared understanding of what we hold in common as a human community. In ou
 r current era of fractured media\, political polarization\, and violent co
 nflicts\, how do we continue to speak of human rights and common ground? 
  \n\nFor Families: Childcare for children ages 1-8 available with Noah an
 d Jackie.  First Church Boston storyteller\, Rev. Hank Peirce\, will shar
