 k\, How to Know a Person. How can we build skills individually and as a co
 mmunity to foster better connections that help us to feel seen\, known\, a
 nd understood? Rev. Stephanie and her dad have enjoyed decades of thoughtf
 ul conversations on many aspects of religion\, ethics\, and life. Steve Ma
 y\, a resident of Grand Rapids\, Michigan\, has been a lifelong church mem
 ber and leader. After a long career in agricultural finance\, Mr. May beca
 me CFO of a non-profit homeless shelter before finally retiring. In retire
 ment\, Mr. May is an avid reader (84 books read in 2023!)\, church choir m
 ember\, and volunteer tax preparer for low income residents.\n\nFor Famili
 es: Rev. Hank Peirce will share a story for all ages. Quiet activities wil
 l be available for children in the rear of the sanctuary. Childcare is on 
 break for the morning\, but returns next week.
