From our 17th century founding by Puritans through the 19th century emergence of Unitarian Christianity and the 20th century formation of the Unitarian Universalist Association, the individual right of conscience has been foundational to the religious tradition of First Church Boston. Within the context of 21st century calls for interdependence and accountability, how might we now understand the free exercise of right of conscience.
