First Church in Boston - Unitarian Universalist
Thank you for visiting our website. We warmly invite you to join us for worship and fellowship!
Our one-hour Sunday worship services begin at 11:00 am; coffee hour follows. We have Religious Education classes for children (ages 4-12), youth (ages 13-18), and free childcare for those under 3. You can hear the broadcast live and online on 88.9 FM WERS or Emerson College Radio.
Located in Boston’s Back Bay, we strive to be a vibrant, friendly city church, embodying the ideals of Unitarian Universalism and Social Justice. Service trips to New Orleans and other destinations demonstrate our faith in action and our commitment to the wider community.
For nearly four centuries, First Church in Boston has stood for freedom of the spirit and religious tolerance. First gathered in 1630, we are the oldest church in Boston and draw strength from our history. We continue to gather in friendship, freedom and love in large and small groups for Women and Men.
Experience lifelong spiritual growth, explore your beliefs and doubts, and find good company for your spiritual journey. Welcome to First Church in Boston, Unitarian Universalist.
